Hybrid School of Wrestling runs classes under trainers Chris Marval and, more notably, former WWE wrestler Sho Funaki, who is still with Vince McMahon’s promotion as a Japanese play-by-play announcer.
Blanchard remains a free agent after leaving IMPACT Wrestling as the company’s World Heavyweight Champion in June 2020. Reportedly let go amid fears that she’d no-show a Slammiversary 2020 booking after failing to submit requested video content while self-isolating in Mexico, Tessa had been implicated in a racism scandal five months prior, when she was accused of using slurs against and spitting in the face of Puerto Rican wrestler La Rosa Negra.
Barely a week passes without fresh rumours on Blanchard’s future emerging. This photograph is surely set to spark more, given Banks and Bayley’s lofty WWE status.
For now, the talented 25-year-old remains on the market.
