Lamptey has been a revelation since moving to Brighton from Chelsea on deadline day last January, penning a three-year deal.
He quickly established himself as Graham Potter’s preferred choice in his position, allowing them to let the experienced Martin Montoya leave.
And his eye-catching displays also attracted attention from clubs at home and abroad.
Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are all admirers of Lamptey along with Brighton’s Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 20-year-old is currently out until February after picking up a hamstring injury last month
Though Brighton have been successful in their attempts to secure Lamptey on a new contract in a major boost for the south coast club.
Lamptey is set to miss two more weeks of action after suffering a set-back on his return from injury.
He has already missed six games with a hamstring injury suffered in a goalless draw at Fulham in mid-December.
The youngster will now miss games against Leeds, Fulham, Tottenham and potentially Liverpool, too, in early February.
