A woman has been rushed to hospital after being seriously assaulted with a hammer in a hotel in Sydney’s CBD.
Police rushed to the hotel in Pitt Street at 11pm on Tuesday night to reports the woman had been brutally bashed at the Primus Hotel.
She was stabilised by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown.
The woman was seriously injured in the hotel assault and was rushed to hospital by ambulance crews
Disturbing images showed the woman hooked up to machines by paramedics and being wheeled into an ambulance.
Forensic detectives were spotted at the 1930s style hotel on Wednesday morning searching for clues in a bid to ascertain the motive of the incident.
Officers from the Sydney City Police Area Command also attended and established a crime scene.
