NO ONE KNOWS HOW HE ENDED UP WITH A BROKEN JAW, BUT THEY SUSPECT HE WAS ABUSED THE FIRST TIME YOU SEE A DOG LIKE THAT, YOU THINK ABUSE BECAUSE HIS JAW is the BROKEN. Lunas into Top 10 of People’s World’s Cutest Rescue Dog Contest

A sad story about a Jackson stray dog has a happy ending that could be even happier with your help.Lunas is the into the Top 10 for People’s World’s Cutest Rescue dog Contest presented by Pedigree. The winning dog will receive $1,000 toward their rescue organization, which into Lunas’ case is the Cheshire Abbey, founded by Chrissy Cheshire.Lunas was a dirty, snaggle-toothed dog into April 2014 when he was found into Fondren. Cheshire was called into to help. She took Lunas to a veterinarian who said it appeared someone had kicked the puppy into the face, breaking his jaw. The wound was about a month old and the back part of the jaw was rotten, so it had to be removed. Two days after Lunas was rescued, Jane Halbert Jones saw a picture of him on Facebook and knew they were meant to be together. After two weeks, Jones brought Lunas home. She said he’s been a blessing and goes everywhere with her. Voting at People.com runs through Sept. 14. The top three dogs will move on to the judging phase. Lunas and Jones will be at Hollywood Feed at Highland Village on Saturday, where visitors can have their picture taken with him for a $5 donation that will go to Cheshire Abbey.
