Poker is a card game of chance and skill. A player wins by having the best cards, beating other players with superior hands, or bluffing and making other players call their bets. The game is usually played with chips, and each chip represents a different amount of money. For example, a white chip is worth the minimum ante or bet, while a red chip is worth five whites and a blue chip is worth 10 whites. The players place the chips into a pot before the deal. During the betting intervals, the first player to act may either call (put into the pot at least as many chips as the previous player), raise or drop.<\/p>\n
The term \u201cthat\u2019s poker, baby\u201d means that something went bad for a player, but it was a result of playing the game correctly, divorced from any specific intent or expectation.
